When asked about why he started to do the Stick It To Cancer Bow Fishing Tournament (SITC), Tim Worthy had this to say:
“I was inspired to put on this tournament because I lost my mother to cervical cancer in 2010 and she was a very caring and giving person always willing to help where she could when we had a benefit for her I was surprised at how many people came to help. She touch a lot of lives and when she needed help the number of people that stepped up was amazing and that made me want to pick up where she left off. I hope to continue to grow this tournament and eventually host other tournaments as well to help raise money for those who really need the help.”
Our first annual SITC tournament, in 2017, benefited David Brown and was a success. We are looking forward to the same success this year as we raise money for a brave young man named Justin Walker.
